Das meiste sind Benachrichtigungen von irgendwelchen Sozial-Media-Plattformen (\u201cMaya hat Dein Foto kommentiert\u201d), Diskussionsforen (\u201cThomas hat auf Deinen Beitrag \u201cKartoffeln auf dem Balkon z\u00fcchten\u201d geantwortet), Wikis (\u201cDer Artikel \u2018Karl der Grosse\u2019 wurden von 214.78.122.13 ge\u00e4ndert\u201d) oder Blogs (\u201cNeuer Kommentar auf \u2018Open Mind Blog\u2019\u201d). Hinzu kommen Nachrichten von Mailing-Listen, Newsletters und \u2013 mengenm\u00e4ssig absolut f\u00fchrend \u2013 Spam. Wie soll man in dieser Nachrichtenflut noch den \u00dcberblick behalten und das Wichtige vom Unwichtigen trennen?<\/p>\n<p>M\u00f6glicherweise mit <a href=\"http:\/\/labs.mozilla.com\/raindrop\">Raindrop<\/a>. Das neue Projekt der Mozilla Labs pr\u00e4sentiert Nachrichten aus verschiedensten Quellen auf einer einheitlichen, \u00fcbersichtlichen Web-Oberfl\u00e4che, gegliedert nach Nachrichtentypen. Die Software ist im Moment ein Prototyp mit der Versionsnummer 0.1 und kann noch nicht heruntergeladen werden \u2013 ein Urteil ist deshalb zum heutigen Zeitpunkt nicht m\u00f6glich. Spontan frage ich mich, ob das Thunderbird-Team seine Energie nicht besser in die Fertigstellung des E-Mail-Clients Thunderbird 3 investiert h\u00e4tte, der sich seit einer halben Ewigkeit im Beta-Stadium befindet. Zu hoffen ist auch, dass Raindrop nicht als separates Projekt weiterlebt (und dadurch Thunderbird konkurrenziert), sondern dass die Erkenntnisse aus Raindrop in Thunderbird einfliessen. Denn letztlich ist das intelligente Filtern, Sortieren und Pr\u00e4sentieren von Nachrichten eine Kernaufgabe eines E-Mail-Programms im 21.
