OpenPublish<\/a> ist eine auf Drupal<\/a> basierende L\u00f6sung, die sich insbesondere f\u00fcr News-Plattformen eignet. Einfache Publikationsprozesse, Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr Monetarisierung und Content Syndication sowie verschiedene Mechanismen f\u00fcr die Suchmaschinen-Optimierung stehen bei solchen Anwendungen im Zentrum. OpenPublish pr\u00e4sentiert sich als durchdachte, leistungsf\u00e4hige und flexible L\u00f6sung, die sich als Basis f\u00fcr die Online-Pr\u00e4senz von mittelgrossen Publikationen anbietet.<\/p>\n

\"OpenPublish<\/p>\n

Mindestens so interessant wie OpenPublish selbst empfinde ich das Konzept bei Drupal, dass immer mehr anwendungsspezifische Distributionen auftauchen, also Software-Pakete, welche die Drupal-Basisversion mit diversen Modulen b\u00fcndeln. Die Installation dieser Distributionen ist genau so einfach wie bei Drupal selbst, und so hat man im Handumdrehen eine funktionierende Plattform. Mit diesem Distributionenkonzept pr\u00e4sentiert sich Drupal ausgesprochen vielseitig und kann sich f\u00fcr verschiedenste Anwendungen empfehlen, bei denen man sonst nie an Drupal gedacht h\u00e4tte, weil die manuelle Installation und Konfiguration der vielen Module ziemlich aufw\u00e4ndig sein kann.<\/p>\n

OpenPublish ist \u00fcbrigens nicht die einzige Drupal-Distribution von Phase2 Technology<\/a>: Die Drupal-Spezialisten aus Virginia haben auch noch OpenPublic<\/a> (eine L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr Websites von Regierungen und Beh\u00f6rden) sowie OpenAtrium<\/a> (eine Projektmanagement-Plattform, die urspr\u00fcnglich von Development Seed entwickelt wurde) im Angebot.
