VLC (oder VideoLAN)<\/a> ist der etwas spr\u00f6de Name eines vielseitigen Open Source Media-Players. Er kann zahlreiche Audio- und Video-Formate wiedergeben (u.a. MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, DivX, MP3 und Ogg), zeigt DVDs und weiss auch mit verschiedenen Streaming-Protokollen etwas anzufangen. Zudem ist VLC als Streaming Server einsetzbar.
