Nachdem in diesem Blog bereits Moodle<\/a> und eFront<\/a> Erw\u00e4hnung gefunden haben, darf nat\u00fcrlich auch ein Hinweis auf ILIAS (Integriertes Lern-, Informations- und Arbeitskooperations-System)<\/a> nicht fehlen. Das E-Learning-System geht auf ein Projekt an der Universit\u00e4t K\u00f6ln zur\u00fcck, wird aber inzwischen an verschiedensten Hochschulen eingesetzt und ist damit ein breit abgest\u00fctztes Open-Source-Projekt im akademischen Umfeld, wobei nebst der Uni K\u00f6ln auch die ETH Z\u00fcrich Koordinationsaufgaben \u00fcbernimmt.<\/p>\n

ILIAS ist ein sehr m\u00e4chtiges System, bietet aber im Kern dieselben Funktionen wie andere E-Learning-L\u00f6sungen: Wissensvermittlung, Lernkontrolle und Interaktion. Im Praxiseinsatz als Dozent an der Hochschule Luzern<\/a> empfand ich das System mit seinem enormen Leistungsumfang am Anfang etwas un\u00fcbersichtlich; die wahren Qualit\u00e4ten von ILIAS kommen vor allem bei regelm\u00e4ssigem Gebrauch zum tragen.<\/p>\n

In technischer Hinsicht setzt auch ILIAS die g\u00e4ngige Kombination aus PHP und MySQL voraus. Als Lizenz kommt die GNU General Public Licence (GPL) zur Anwendung.<\/p>\n
